Elliott draws upon deep coaching experience built across more than 30 years as corporate executive. He has coached high potentials as well as leaders at all management levels, primarily for Fortune 500 brands in retail, banking, insurance, and healthcare coordination. He has a strong track record of developing teams, leaders and functions to elevated performance
Elliott helps clients learn to successfully navigate organizational dynamics and optimize the environment in which they are working. He works with leaders to increase their awareness of and develop their own styles and strengths. . He has been certified in The Hogan Personality Inventory, DiSC, and the Predictive Index.
Business and Career Background
Elliott honed his coaching skills in retail at Macys and L Brands. As VP Human Resources he was a member of the executive leadership team behind a private equity buyout and ensuing IPO. He helped create a successful e-commerce business and also attracted, developed and retained industry-leading talent. Elliott launching a shared-services talent acquisition function, a critical element of the business operating system.
Elliott led HR for Quantum Health, a privately-held coordinated healthcare services provider. As a member of the executive team, he leveraged his experience to help the business grow revenue nearly 50% in18 months. Early in his career, he worked in HR at Macy’s, building experience in talent management, executive compensation and change management.
Elliott is a cancer-survivor, having battled stage-four lymphoma in 2013 and has been in remission ever since. He retired at the end of 2014 and launched Intersect.
Elliott earned his B.S. in business administration from Emmanuel College in Boston and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
